About Marissa

Hi, I’m Marissa. Self proclaimed mystic (disguised as a historian), author, and lifelong student of the unseen forces shaping our world. I’ve spent years studying history, cycles of time, astrology, and the subconscious, uncovering the patterns and subtle energies that influence both our personal lives and the broader shifts of civilization. Some people call it fate, some call it coincidence, I call it a blueprint.

My work is where deep research meets storytelling, where the mystical meets the practical. I write about how time moves in cycles, how history repeats (but not exactly), and how understanding these rhythms can help us navigate change, whether in our own lives or on the world stage. Think of me as your guide to decoding the patterns of the past so you can better shape your future.

What you’ll find in my work:

  • Deep dives into historical cycles, astrology, and the subconscious

  • Thought-provoking essays that connect the dots between past, present, and future

  • Practical wisdom for navigating life’s ebbs and flows

  • A little humor, because let’s be real, existence is weird

If you’re curious about how the past informs the present, how cycles of time shape our lives, or how to work with the unseen forces at play—welcome. You’re in the right place.

Let’s explore the mysteries together.

I’m a professional historian and published author. The kind who lives for research rabbit holes, gets excited about primary sources, and loves to connect the dots.

I’m also a mom of three kids and three dogs (which currently includes one toddler and two puppies). Chaos isn’t just a visitor in my life. It’s a full-time resident.

I dream of one day settling into a farmhouse filled with rescue animals, a medicinal herb garden, and a library so massive it requires one of those rolling ladders.

I believe mothers are the spiritual leaders of their families and communities. And that the new paradigm emerging is based in the feminine.

Nothing makes me feel more alive than long quiet runs, playing in the ocean, obsessing over a new special interest, or deep conversations that make you question everything you thought you knew.
